The blend of produce from the sea, the Serra and the Barrocal is a gastronomic treasure whose flavours and aromas are different from any other. Tradition requires that dishes are prepared with very fresh shellfish, freshly caught fish and vegetables that still smell of the countryside. The herbs from the country combined with spices such as cloves and saffron add a special flavour to dishes.

The fruits harvested at different times and showing respect for the cycle of nature are carefully selected and then transformed by skilful hands into little treats that melt in your mouth: “Morgados”, almond tarts, pastries, along with many others. Other fruits are also gathered from the trees, which the patience and skill of the people of the Serra use to make sublime brandies and liqueurs.
